Fiery Bulldog

Despite his ill-fated strategic mistakes in Gallipoli during the First World War, Winston Churchill rose to a new challenge in 1940 to lead the British people in what was their darkest hour.

Does I Ching Astrology shed any light on his extraordinary character and leadership?

Born today in 1874, his 9-5-9 profile speaks volumes of his intense powers, passion and leadership.

Both his Birth Star and his Outer Star are the passionate, proud and prophetic 9 Fire Star. Sometimes moody and impulsive - but mainly charismatic and proud.

His real strength came from his 5 T'ai Chi Inner Star. This made his real core: assertive, bright, determined and even aggressive.

He shares the same profile as Anglo-Irish poet and satirist, Jonathan Swift, born on the same day, with the same Fire Stars, in 1667.

I can only imagine how remarkable an encounter between these two remarkable minds would have been.

Still singing the blues...

Mayall's incredible discography

Father of the British blues, John Mayall, is 75 today. What, according to I Ching Astrology, makes him such an influential musician?

To begin with his Birth Star is the imposing, sensitive and self-motivated 4 Wind Star. What's more his style and presence is like the wind itself - both changeable and adaptable.

His deep, reflective and spiritual nature comes from the 8 Mountain Inner Star with its tenacious, dependable and stubborn tendencies

His expression is well reflected in his 1 Water Outer Star, making his music emotional, moody, serious and cool.

Interestingly, he shares the same profile 4-8-1 with Jimi Hendrix.

Happy Birthday, John

One down... eleven to go...

Wind of change blows Kilroy out. Mountain Star Martina remains a favourite

The first "celebrity" to be cast out of the jungle in Australia last night was TV presenter turned politician, Robert Kilroy-Smith.

Of all the contestants, he was the only one with the 4 Wind Birth Star. The least communicative and least understood of all the Stars in 2008.

Also, hosts and tormentors, Ant and Dec, are both 7 Lake Stars... They clash big time with 4 Wind Stars, as UK viewers will have noticed.

Who's the favourite to win? My view is: look for a tenacious 8 Mountain Star! There are two who feature this star in their birth charts: Martina Navratilova with her 8 Mountain Birth Star and Dani Behr, with her Inner Mountain Star.

But will it be the full-on 8 Mountain of Martina or the hidden strength of Dani's 8 Mountain Inner Star?

I go with Martina!

Purple Haze

There is nothing hazy about the effect legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix had on rock music. He would have been 66 today.

What does I Ching Astrology reveal about the character and genius of the man, who single-handedly transformed what was possible with an electric guitar.

His Birth Star is the very influential 4 Wind Star. In the same way that William Shakespeare, another Wind Star, transformed English literature, Hendrix redefined the lexicon of rock.

His 8 Mountain Inner Star made him deep, contemplative, serious and revolutionary. His prowess was such that he could communicate profoundly with his music.

His 1 Water Outer Star gave him the appearance of being laid back, flexible and easy going. In fact the Water influence merely added depth to his brilliance.

4 Wind Stars will always be on the frontiers of change.

Communications breakdowns

I Ching Astrology not only covers the significance of each Birth Star, but also where it is positioned year by year. From these positions, named after the compass points and seasons, it is possible to make very effective predictions about how best to spend your year.

Some years very strong Stars simply go to sleep... In others normally intuitive people simply cannot hear...

Sport is a good example. 6 Heaven Stars and 5 T'ai Chi Stars are natural leaders. 4 Wind Stars are gifted and influential. However, in 2008 the 5 Star is in the House of Fire, representing fame, 6 Star in the Winter House and 4 Star deep in their Mountain House cave, completely out of communication.

Arsenal coach, Wenger, a 6 Heaven Star, fires Gallas, 5 T'ai Chi Star, as skipper for being outspoken and replaces him with a sleepy Fabregas, a 4 Wind Star.

English rugby star, Danny Cipriani, a 4 Wind Star, is having a bad a season. Today he is replaced by the equally sleepy Toby Flood, 6 Heaven Star, for the visit of the mighty All Blacks on Saturday.

English coach, Martin Johnson (pictured above), is very welcome to get in touch for some astrological insights into team selection!

East or West - home is best

Super model Kate Moss has made two abortive trips to the US this year for photo-shoots. And on both occasions it was a wasted journey, the shoots were cancelled at the last minute.

If Kate had but known I Ching Astrology can plot the course of your Star as it rotates year by year to a different compass position and thereby determine the advisability of certain journeys.

In 2008 Kate's 8 Mountain Birth Star moved to the East. This is the creative and youthful position in I Ching Astrology. However, major moves toward your own Star, which in her case is residing in the House of East or away from it to the West, are ill advised.

There is frequently a communication breakdown as Kate has found out.

After 4 February 2009, any East-West journey will be just fine for her.

Do the numbers add up for Obama?

It is strongly rumoured that Obama will endorse Timothy Geithner as his new Treasury Secretary today.

In I Ching Astrology, do the Stars and numbers predict a positive partnership?

Obama and Geithner (pictured right) were born in 1961 making them both insightful, intelligent and ambitious 3 Thunder Stars.

This could be a perfect working partnership, as both will be ready and willing to sing from the same hymn sheet.

Deeper in their I Ching Charts they both have the 8 Mountain Star, also shared by Hilary Clinton.

The 8 Mountain Star endows them with a deep reforming spirit and a desire for change. All three will stand up for social justice - a core aspiration of this new government in waiting.

Supporting them, quietly, could be Larry Summers, a 1 Water a Star - likely to nominated as White House economic advisor. Perfect as Water supports Thunder in the elemental cycle of I Ching Astrology.

Harpo - Silent Comic Genius

Silent Marx brother, musician Harpo, was born this day back in 1888.

Together with brothers Groucho and Chico, he created a legendary comedy style. What does I Ching Astrology have to say about Harpo's gifted silence?

His Birth Star was 4 Wind - influential, sensitive and intuitive.

His Inner Star was the strong and SILENT 8 Mountain Star! Those with this Inner Star are notorious for their deep and quiet communication skills... or lack of them!

His Outer Star was the charming, independent, bubbly and cheeky 1 Water Star.

Other extremely funny people share this quirky profile including Billy Connolly and Zero Mostel. And interestingly Jonathan Ross reveals just how wrong those with the Inner 8 Mountain Star can get their communications.

Lake Star Scarlett turns 24

Actress Scarlett Johansson celebrates her 24th birthday today. Despite her youth she already has two brilliant movies under her belt: The Horse Whisperer and Lost in Translation.

What does I Ching Astrology reveal about her "star" quality?

Her Birth Star is the deeply reflective 7 Lake Star. A naturally brooding quality is tempered with a dash of humour, foresight and ambition. However, the 7 Lake Star can also be stubborn, nervous, hypersensitive and egocentric.

In I Ching Astrology, this Star is also associated with the archetypal family member, the Youngest Daughter. This brings out an air of independence and attractiveness, which Scarlett, who has dual Danish American citizenship, continues to capitalise on, launching a solo singing career earlier this year.

Welcome new campers...

New blood: tough Timmy and decisive David

Two new campers have appeared in the Queensland jungle to spice up the party. Just how will they fit in and who will they rile?

Singer David Van Day is a 6 Heaven Star and will certainly jockey for position with the other 6 Heaven Stars both for leadership and to voice his opinion. The other three are: Carly, Brian and Esther.

Also his profile will clash big time with 4 Wind Star Robert... with David gaining the upper hand!

Former children's TV presenter Timmy Mallett is a 9 Fire Star - like George. He will lighten up the party, as Fire Stars are prone to do. He is a one to watch as he has a steely inner strength - like Joe - that is only revealed under pressure. He is tougher than he looks!

Remembering a great reformer

It seems appropriate to remember the birth of civil rights reformer Bobby Kennedy today in 1925. Like Barack Obama, whose path to power he helped to pave, he was a 3 Thunder Star.

Born eight years after JFK, younger brother Bobby also had plenty of guts and determination and was likewise tragically assassinated.

His I Ching Astrology profile gave him two 3 Thunder Stars: 3-5-3

His 3 Thunder Birth Star and Outer Stars endowed him with enormous amounts of stamina. Thunder represents new ideas, the dawn, spring, youth and innovation.

His 5 T'ai Chi Inner Star gave him a steely inner strength and determination. Like his brother JFK, a 2-8-8, he had a double dose of Stars. Individuals with such combinations are always ground-breakers.

Star crossed: Mickey and Walt

Mickey Mouse turned 80 yesterday. His birthday reveals a fascinating connection with his creator, Walt Disney.

In I Ching Astrology there are nine different Birth Stars and, if we share the same Birth Star with another individual, they can effectively be our "twin". However, there are two further stars in each profile called the Inner and the Outer Stars. Over a 12 month period and through nine years, there are a possible 108 permutations of profiles.

I find it fascinating that both Walt Disney and his unique creation, Mickey Mouse, are born, by the I Ching Astrology month, 27 years apart. Thus their full profiles are identical!

The 9-5-9 profile brings plenty of 9 Fire to the party which means - fame, recognition, getting noticed, exposure and stardom.

The brand looks set to last for at least another 80 years...

Fire exposed in France

One of the most wanted terrorists in the world, ETA Basque, Aspiazu Rubina was arrested yesterday by police on the French border. Do his I Ching Astrology Stars give any clues as to who he is?

Born in July 1973, he is the stormy and explosive 9 Fire Star. Not only that, but in 2008 his Fire Star is in the South East House, known as the house of "Movement with no stability".

So it is a turbulent year for the Fire Star. But no doubt the world is a safer place for many after this arrest.

Barack and I Ching harmony

Barack has good I Ching Chemistry with Hillary, but not Bill

Now that President-elect, Barack Obama, the 3 Thunder Star, is preparing his new team for power in 2009, how could he use the time-honoured, ancient wisdom of I Ching Astrology to pick the best people available?

If the rumours are correct about bringing on board Hillary Clinton, with her 8-3-1 profile, as Secretary of State, then his appointment process is already imbued with an instinctive and trustworthy prescience.

His own profile is the expressive 3-9-8 combination of Stars. And, although we saw how they fought for the Democratic nomination, as colleagues they could be part of a "dream team".

Barack's 3 Thunder Birth Star "controls" her 8 Mountain Star. That is vital if he is the boss.

What's more her 3 Thunder Inner Star, the source ambition and powerful emotions, actually supports his 9 Fire Inner Star. Bravo!

Lastly, his 8 Mountain Outer Star, indicative of self-expression and style, keeps Water in check. Without Earth from the Mountain, Water is undisciplined and reckless. Hillary's Outer Star is 1 Water. Perfect!

It will be prudent for Obama not to work with husband Bill, as he would find the former president's 9-6-8 profile quite "draining"!

Too many cooks?

All stars won't go to Heaven: Zucker, Rantzen and Paddick

As the new series of "Get me out of here..." gets underway, I already see a rivalry hotting up for a "leadership" role. The reason for this is that there are three potential bosses, who will be vying for control in the jungle. They are: Esther Rantzen, Brian Paddick and Carly Zucker.

All born under the 6 Heaven Star, they are natural leaders. Their Star represents not only a kind of transcendent energy but also the authority and leadership of the archetypal father. So, really best not to have more than one in any household. Any farmer will tell you it's never a good idea to put two roosters in the same hen house. Mayhem!

Do not underestimate young Carly's guts and tenacity. It's in her full I Ching Astrology star profile - watch this space for more detail as the competition progresses.

New conflict in the Jungle

The new series of the UK's ever popular "I am a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!" begins tomorrow night. Who, you may ask, would put themselves through this ordeal in the steamy Australian jungle? But more to the point, what about those cheeky lads that wind all those celebs up?

Geordie lads Ant and Dec (pictured above) are both born a few months apart in 1975. This makes them both the witty, reflective and prank-pulling 7 Lake Star. Keen on their independence and sense of fun, the 7 Lake Star will often, under pressure, shirk from serious responsibilities, but can make light of events and reflect back to the world what is really going on. As we know Ant and Dec manage to allow others to make complete fools of themselves while keeping a safe distance!

However, look out for a possible clash developing between their two 7 Lake Stars and the 4 Wind Star of Robert Kilroy-Silk (pictured above). In I Ching Astrology the Lake always tries to "control" the Wind. It will make interesting viewing..

Born to rule...

Charles, Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne, is 60 years old today. What does I Ching Astrology have to say about his character and his style as future King?

Born in 1948, his Birth Star is the independent - not to say controversial - witty and deeply reflective 7 Lake Star. In the I Ching Astrology "archetypal family" it is perhaps the most independent of all the nine signs.

His Inner Star is the deep and frequently serious 8 Mountain Star. Whilst keen on instigating change, he often yearns to retreat into his "cave" to find peace.

His Outer Star is the highly sensitive, intuitive and elusive 4 Wind Star. This makes for an enigmatic public profile: it is often hard to pin down what he wants and where he would like to be.

This 7-8-4 profile contrasts vividly with his Dad's 7-4-8. They seldom seem to see eye to eye. Prince Philip's 8 Mountain Outer Star is often the cause of his insensitive communication style.

But Mum spoke these emollient words about her eldest son, when she visited the Prince's Trust HQ earlier this week: "For Prince Philip and me, there can be no greater pleasure or comfort than to know that into his care are safely-entrusted the guiding principles of public service and duty to others."

Happy Birthday, Charles!

Stars tell Stevenson's Story

Stevenson by Italian painter G.Nerli and title page of first Jekyll and Hyde edition 1886

Scottish poet, novelist and travel writer Robert Louis Stevenson was born this day in 1850. Very much the writers' writer, he brought light, imagination and inspiration to generations.

He will best remembered for Treasure Island, Kidnapped and the Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, his hugely successful populist exploration of schizophrenia.

He packed a vast amount of writing and travel into a relatively short life, He died at 44 in Samoa. Does his I Ching Astrology profile shed any light on his exciting but all too brief life?

His full profile is the 6-5-6.

The two 6 Heaven Stars, as Birth and Outer Stars, are a force to be reckoned with as they bring out the qualities of leadership, tenacity and detail that he had.

However, in Chinese medicine, the 6 Heaven Star is connected to the Element Metal and this in turn supports, or, in some cases, can cause a weakness with the lungs.

Stephenson suffered all his life with weak lungs. In fact this was the main reason for his move to Samoa in search of a warmer climate. The physical weakness of the lungs is also associated in Chinese healing with the emotional tendency to depression, which he also struggled with.

Deja Vu: happy birthday Neil

Many of us get a sense of deja vu around birthdays, but few of us have the prescience of veteran Canadian rocker Neil Young who turns 63 today.

In 1970, as a member of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, he sang Joni Mitchell's Woodstock, the anthem of a generation, on their Deja Vu Album.

Early this year he released CSNY Deja Vu - a documentary of the reformed super-group's 2006 "Freedom of Speech" tour. Another song, "Let's Impeach the President", from the film seems to have just captured the imagination of the American electorate.

So, how does I Ching Astrology view this creative and controversial rock legend?

His 1 Water Birth Star suggests a man of depth, tenacity and social insight.

His Inner 8 Mountain Star speaks volumes of his persistent, seeking and revolutionary thinking, while it is his hyper-sensitive, nervous, persuasive and expressive 7 Lake Outer Star that we really see and hear.

I, for one, look forward to more haunting and deeply moving music from him.

Happy birthday, Neil!

Fiery Calista is 43 today

What gives award winning actress Calista Flockart all that drive and the energy?

A look at her I Ching Astrology profile sheds light on her and her success in her most famous role to date as the wacky lawyer, Ally McBeal.

Her Birth Star is the vibrant, inspiring, passionate, intelligent, candid and even haughty 9 Fire Star. Those that share this sign can be very showy but at the same time they are open or vulnerable to those that flatter them.

According to the elements that govern relationships in I Ching Astrology, Fire is supported by the Wind. And action hero Harrison Ford fits the bill as he is a 4 Wind Star!

She is lucky to have his "support" - and they have one of Hollywood's most enduring relationships. But it's Harrison, of the two them, that needs to be careful as Fire exhausts Wind. It is its fuel!

Happy Birthday, Calista

Burton: rebellious genius

Welsh heart throb and feisty partner of Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, was born this day in 1925.

Is there anything in his I Ching Astrology profile that gives a hint of his personality and style?

His 3 Thunder Birth Star speaks volumes of his creative, intelligent, and self- confident nature.

His Inner 5 T'ai Chi Star reveals his controlling and changeable temperament.

While his 3 Thunder Outer Star made him rash, impatient, and self-assertive. Witness his 1972 quip: "I find it ludicrous, learning some idiot's lines in the small hours of the night so I can stay a millionaire."

This combination of Stars is shared by Frank Bruno, Billie Jean King and Meg Ryan.

Many Happy Returns, Sisqó

Off/on Dru Hill member, Sisqó is 30 today. Notorious for his extraordinary hairstyles he actually lacks any Fire in his chart that might give a hint of his flamboyance.

But he does in fact share the same enigmatic I Ching Astrology combination as ground breaking guitarist Jimi Hendrix.

The 4-8-1 profile

The 4 Wind Birth Star is influential. The 8 Mountain Inner Star is deep and brooding while his 1 Water Outer Star is independent, free and without constraint.

Rock on Sisqó!

Is it Winter or Summer?

In I Ching Astrology it is an "all change" day. Depending on your hemisphere today is either the first day of winter or the first day of summer. A quick look out of the window should confirm which it is!

It also marks the first day of the new 8 Mountain month. This often reflects change and upheaval on a global level. The influence of the Mountain brings: change, wisdom, calm, sagacity and hidden strengths.

At the same time, the 3 Thunder Star rises to the Fire position giving hope and inspiration while the 4 Wind Star retires to the North and the night and stillness.

Your personal monthly forecast will be available from this site in the very near future.

Obama's new team...

From left: Emanuel, Summers and Geithner - all good, stable candidates

President Elect, Barack Obama, is already looking at possible candidates for senior posts in his administration to ensure that he delivers on his "change" agenda.

For the crucial Chief of Staff role, he is considering Rahm Emanuel, who is a controlling 5 T'ai Chi Star. Perfect for taking a central role and also complimenting Obama's 8 Mountain Outer Star. And a man who can definitely tune in on the same wavelength as the new President.

Two men are in the running for Treasury Secretary. Larry Summers as 1 Water Star supports Obama's 3 Thunder Star in the Five Element Cycle. Timothy Geithner, born two weeks after Obama, matches his 3 Thunder Star. I prefer Geithner as this strong astrological connection means that both men would have an instinctive understanding of each other.

Interestingly, all three candidates have an 8 Mountain Star in their charts - a hallmark of stability. This bodes well, particularly as Obama himself has the same Outer Star.

Listen to your astrological outlook for the remainder of the I Ching Astrology year - 4 February 2008 - completely free, click here>>

Will Barack follow the Tao?

Barack Obama has come to power on a mandate of change - to make life better for all Americans, rich and poor, to save the planet from pollution and to withdraw from senseless wars.

How and when will he be able to achieve these laudable but difficult and complex goals?

In I Ching Astrology it is possible to gauge, like a good navigator, the winds and tides of change in order to plot the best course. Each of our Birth Stars - there are nine in total - migrates through nine different phases, also known as Houses, over a nine year cycle.

Using this ancient matrix. we can get a glimpse of Obama's fortune and opportunities.

In 2009, when he takes office he enters the 8 Mountain House. This signifies change, reflection and the calm before the Fire House of 2010. Best to cosy up quietly on Capitol Hill for consultation and exploring the art of the possible.

In 2010 the exposure of the Fire House makes it an obvious time to introduce major change

In 2011 he moves to the 1 Water House: time to instigate deep change - quietly.

2012 sees him move to the 2 Earth House and the end of his "first" term. This is a good time to tie up the legislative detail for further change.

And finally if he succeeds with a second term, his timing would be perfect as he enters the House of his own 3 Thunder Star - a vibrant time of new beginnings and growth.

Will he follow the Tao?

All change at the White House

Many congratulations to Democrat Barack Obama on his historic victory to become the first black President of the United States and also the first 3 Thunder Star to achieve this high office.

What is his full I Ching profile?

His Birth Star is the intelligent and self motivated 3 Thunder Star. This makes him unstoppable.

His Inner Star is the passionate, showy, impatient, vain and talkative 9 Fire Star.

His Outer Star
is the sensitive and deep 8 Mountain Star.

His 3-9 -8 profile is shared by the gutsy Amelia Earhart and mountaineer Chris Bonnington. It holds both the vanity and humour of Mick Jagger and Robin Williams, and the depth of Elspeth Huxley, Jonathan Miller, Roald Dahl, Henry Moore and Marcel Proust.

As a Kenyan, I celebrate his nomination today in the spirit of Uhuru - freedom.

Thunder and Water in the US Presidency

Barack - the Thunder the US needs. Inset: Cleveland - the country's only Water President

As the results of the US Presidential election begin to filter through, I was reflecting on the fact that the US has never had a 3 Thunder Star President in its history. So it would be another first for Barack Obama. It could have happened four years ago but Democrat John F. Kerry, another 3 Thunder Star, was defeated by incumbent George Bush.

So, what about the 1 Water Star of John McCain? You have to go back to 1885 to find the last and only 1 Water Star President - Grover Cleveland. He was very diplomatic and urged Americans to open more on the trade and diplomatic fronts.

With the current global challenges of war and financial meltdown the world needs the foresight of a 3 Thunder Star and the spirit of youth that they embody - to face uncharted territory.

The end of a dynasty

The United States of America votes today on who will replace the much criticised Bush presidency.

But who is George Bush Jnr from an I Ching Astrology perspective? For a better understanding, best to first look at George Bush Snr, his father and 41st US President.

The elder Bush is a 4 Wind Birth Star, ruled by the element Wood, which supports and fuels Fire, which is the sign of his son, the 43rd US President.

Wind is oxygen to a Fire - and essential for its survival - and a interesting reflection of the father/son relationship. Having said that the 9 Fire Birth Star is passionate and charismatic, but also prone to be rash and out of control, as will be noted from some, but not all, in the following list of "Fire" leaders: Clinton, Mussolini, Tito, Franco, Kenyatta, Saddam Hussein, Churchill and Haile Selassie.

Will Bush be replaced by the diplomatic 1 Water Star of McCain or the progressive 3 Thunder Star of Obama?

The American public are deciding their destiny today.

The full I Ching Astrology profile

Visit www.iching-astrology for full details of this wonderful ancient system and audio and written forecasts for your own Birth Star.

Here is a basic run down on the oldest astrological system known to man.

There are nine I Ching Astrology Star Signs - scroll down for brief descriptions of each sign. And we all have three stars making up our I Ching Astrology profile, using these same signs to reflect different aspects of our personality. Below are brief explanations of the three stars that make up your Star Portrait.

Each profile is written with three numbers, such as 6-3-8, which translates as a 6 Heaven Birth Star, a 3 Thunder Inner Star and an 8 Mountain Outer Star.

  • Your Birth Star is the driving force behind your personality and is determined by the year in which you were born. This is the most important of the three Stars as it underlies all your actions. It is also the Star that you need to be aware of as far as knowing what House you occupy in any given year and month and other aspects of I Ching Astrology.

  • Your Inner Star. This Star has two important qualities. Firstly, it represents who you were during your first two passes round the 9 year cycle – until you reached 18 years of age and entered adulthood. In other words, this is your childhood profile. You only fully evolve into your Birth Star persona at around the age of 18 years. Secondly, in most situations in life, when you are under pressure you often revert to your childhood way of expression, so your Inner Star reflects how you express yourself when you are stressed out. This hidden side of your personality is only seen by those close to you.

  • Your Outer Star reflects how you are perceived by others who do not know you very well. This is the first impression that people pick up on when they meet you. It relates to how you choose to live in the world, For example, how you keep your home tidy, how you choose to dress or socialise and where you shop. If I was to ask a neighbour of yours, who did not know you very well, for an opinion based on their first impressions of you, their comments would be based on the qualities of your Outer Star. In a nutshell, it is ‘how you appear’ to the world.
The Nine I Ching Astrology Star Signs
  • No 1 Water Star:
Fluid, flexible, powerful and patient: you need boundaries to thrive. Without them life can get unmanageable. Intuition and the urge to explore are attributes you share with your source element.

  • No 2 Earth Star:
A positive, public-spirited team player, your affinity with Mother Earth gives you a grounded, steady approach to life. You are the source of strength and support to your family and friends.

  • No 3 Thunder Star:
Strong, energetic, optimistic and powerful. Forthright, frank and honest, you can be prone to grandiosity and impatience, but your lively sense of humour always saves the day.

  • No 4 Wind Star:
Communicative, and occasionally fickle, you really like a good chat. Your sign is influenced by the I Ching hexagram for the wind. So you can blow both hot and cold. Common sense blends with your artistic nature.

  • No 5 T'ai Chi Star:
Always where the action is. You are resilient, but at the same time sensitive to criticism, but never deterred from taking up a challenge. Your enquiring mind and determined nature make you a natural leader.

  • No 6 Heaven Star:
Pioneering, original, straightforward, you are not afraid to take charge. Wise in matters both of the head and the heart, your inspire and engender loyalty in your family, community and business dealings.

  • No 7 Lake Star:
Charismatic with a spontaneous sense of fun and optimism, you have a free and independent nature, tempered with a deeper, reflective and spiritual nature. You are articulate and persuasive.

  • No 8 Mountain Star:
Your symbol is the mountain: strong, capable and likely to achieve great prosperity. You have a contemplative side - a need for time on your own to restore the hidden strength you share with all.

  • No 9 Fire Star:
Natural, active energy drives you to situations where your inspiring and passionate nature can effect positive change. You are proud, not so very practical, but you always see the bigger picture.

Lewis flukes it in Brazil!

In what must have been one of the most exciting and dramatic finales to a Formula 1 title race, 23-year-old Lewis Hamilton became the youngest World Champion ever in Inter lagos, Brazil, yesterday.
.
What can I Ching Astrology tell us about his success?

His Birth Star is the reflective, patient and witty 7 Lake Star. His Inner and Outer Stars are both the decisive, dynamic and authoritative 6 Heaven Star. No surprise then that he kept his head and cool right until the very end of the race, despite worsening track conditions.

2008 was only his second competitive season And the last two years have seen him him emerging from Winter in the I Ching cycle of time. So what can we expect from young Lewis as he enters five years of Spring and growth from February 2009?

Bravo Lewis!

Charm and an unfortunate turn of phrase

Her charming 2 Earth Star couldn't save Marie Antoinette from the French Revolution's guillotine. Wife of Louis XVI she has become one of the most famous monarchs of all time.

Cake, though, does come to mind on the 253th anniversary of her birth, not because of celebratory gateaux, but more because of her infamous words: "Let them eat cake." The sentence did not endear her to her starving subjects, and she lost her head.

Her complete I Ching Astrology profile gives more insight into her impetuous character

Marilyn Monroe and Kim Bassinger share the same 2 Earth Birth Star.

Her Inner Star is the impetuous 3 Thunder Star, both explosive and impatient. Her Outer Star is the changeable and sometimes emotional 4 Wind Star.

Oscar Wilde, Chuck Berry and Midge Ure all share the same profile. Also Tommy Lee.
